Turning Pages is a tutoring center that provides courses, resources, and support in the area of literacy and instruction. Founded by veteran educator Allandra Russell, the mission of Turning Pages is to Create a Community of Lifelong Learners. Ms. Russell has always had a genuine passion for teaching and learning. However, she was overly concerned about the specific literacy challenges noticed amongst many of her students. The gaps were just too big. It was then that Ms. Russell decided to establish Turning Pages, an educational organization aimed at bridging the gaps. Turning Pages provides evidenced-based intervention to students and instructional support for teachers and parents. She believes that learning never ends, and as a result, she is always on a quest to learn something new with the intention of teaching everything better. Ms. Russell has a Bachelor's Degree in General Education, a Master's Degree in Special Education with a focus in literacy instruction, and numerous professional certifications inclusive of Educational Leadership, Curriculum Design, and Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages.
